Mixer was a Hong Kong-based event platform with a distinct branding identity aimed at connecting people and enhancing event experiences. The founders hired me to develop their brand identity and UI & UX design for the App, focusing on modern, dynamic visuals and user-centric features. Although Mixer has since ceased operations in Hong Kong, it's an interesting case, and I still want to have it here.
How can we design a seamless and engaging experience for Mixer, an event platform that integrates multiple functions—messaging, voting, ticketing, and social feed posts—while maintaining a clear and intuitive user journey?
The challenge was to create a cohesive brand identity and UI/UX design that balanced functionality and aesthetics, ensuring smooth navigation between features without overwhelming users. By prioritizing usability and engagement, the goal was to enhance social interaction and event participation, making Mixer a dynamic and reliable platform for its community.
